Lunara works without an account. We never collect your name, phone number, email, precise location, or contacts. The data you log (periods, symptoms, moods, temperatures, LH results, profile basics) is stored only on your device.
All health data stays on this device by default and is protected with iOS data protection (NSFileProtectionComplete). Nothing is uploaded. If you enable iCloud sync in the future, your data would be stored in your personal iCloud account, encrypted by Apple — the app developer cannot access it.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Lunara may read sleep analysis, heart rate, steps, basal body temperature, and exercise minutes — each item requires your explicit permission, and the data is used only on this device to improve cycle predictions. You may optionally write period records to Apple Health. You can change these permissions anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
Lunara contains no advertising SDKs, no social SDKs, no data brokers, and no third-party analytics. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
To improve Lunara, the app keeps anonymous usage counts (for example, "insights viewed: 12") strictly on this device. These counts contain no health information and never leave your device. You can view, disable, or clear them anytime in Settings → Help Improve Lunara.
You can export all of your data (JSON / CSV / PDF) or delete everything on this device at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Lunara is a wellness tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment advice.
