Lunara is not a medical service. If you experience severe pain, heavy bleeding, high fever (over 39°C / 102°F), fainting, or think you may have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
No. Lunara works fully anonymously — all core features (tracking, predictions, insights, export) work without any sign-up. Your data stays on your device.
Predictions start immediately using your typical cycle length (default 28 days). After about 3 logged cycles, Lunara switches to your own statistics and predictions become noticeably more accurate. Every prediction shows its basis and a ± day range.
Open the Calendar tab, tap any day of the period, then tap Edit. Turn off "Period ongoing" and set the end date. You can also edit any past record from the History list.
Yes. On the Symptoms page, type naturally (e.g. "bad cramps, headache, slept poorly") and Lunara structures it into tagged symptoms with severity. Your original text is always kept. The free tier includes 20 natural-language parses per month; Lunara+ is unlimited.
All health records (cycles, symptoms, temperatures, moods) are stored locally on your device using iOS data protection. We have no server-side copy. See Settings → Privacy Center for a live overview of storage and permissions.
It's off by default. When you enable it, the AI assistant can answer questions beyond the built-in knowledge base: only your current question text (and recent chat text) is sent to our server to generate a reply. Your health records are never sent, replies are not stored, and every cloud-generated answer is marked with a "Cloud reply" label. Turn it off anytime.
Settings → Privacy Center → Export (PDF report, CSV, or full JSON — works offline) or "Delete all data" (with confirmation). Deletion removes everything from your device immediately and cannot be undone.
Only cycle-relevant types: sleep analysis, heart rate, steps, basal body temperature, and exercise minutes — each requested separately with an explanation, and used on-device only. Writing period data to Health is optional and off by default.
Cycle tracking and predictions, tag-based symptom logging (20 natural-language parses/month), calendar, basic statistics, HealthKit integration, notifications, and data export.
Unlimited natural-language logging, advanced insight reports (phase correlations, trends), premium themes, and priority support. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
Email support@lunara.app — we usually reply within 2 business days. Feature suggestions are welcome; you can also submit them in-app from Settings → Help Improve Lunara (they're never auto-uploaded).
